I never leave the house without my phone.
I also never leave the house without mascara on.
And I rarely, hardly ever, leave the house without my hair straightened.

garrr..... Currently I'm single, and to tell you the truth, I hate it. It's so boring and especially because everyone around me is in a relationship, it all just sort of sucks. And for the exception that's not in a relationship - they go on dates with different people every week. Being single sucks sooo much. Sometimes all I want is just that little bit of comfort with someone, I just want to be able to walk up to a guy and hug him. Hug him until all my problems just melt away and I can enjoy myself. But unfortunately, I have been blessed with a little attribute that seems to stand in the way of such an even occurring.... My Hair.

Although, I have recently seem the troubles in relationships. I have learnt from my friends mistakes, so I don't have to make them. oh goodness I need affection....

Your views on drugs and alcohol

My Views. Not really against either of them. I believe I have blogged about this before. But yeah. There's a certain point you can reach before its unacceptable in my books.

I have friends that do weed and I'm okay with it. Because it doesn't change who they are. They are not addicted and its just for fun. Although I don't think I would do it anytime soon. Other drugs however, I'm against. Drugs that have long term affects I don't like. At All.

Alcohol. If you know any of my friends, you would know that they are not against alcohol at all. Me? I'm not against it either, although I avoid drinking excessive amounts. I don't want to get drunk, any time in the coming weeks. I may at some point next year, due to the release of year 12 stress, but at this stage, I'm happy being the helper. And I must say, I play a pretty great drunk person... Fake it till ya make it.

A TV show you’re currently addicted to.

3 Words. Toddlers and Tiaras.

Oh my Jesus. The most addictive show. Mother and I watch endless episodes and we somehow just can't get enough of the pageant world.

If you don't know what it is, look it up.

Another show would have to be One Tree Hill. It's quite a nice show, however I have become less obsessed due to the fact that I have seen every episode and each week I'm waiting for a new one to come out.

Thanks to Ant Man... I'm nearly obsessed with The OC... just a few more eps through these holidays and I'll get there.

Past.

When I was younger, I was bullied



I told teachers, but they never did anything about it. I was picked on for being a little different, for having red hair.
Before summer heights high was made, I was being called a ranga.

There were a few boys in my grade looking through a nat geo book in our library. They found a page on Orangutan's, they realised the comparison, and began to refer to me as an Orangutan. Later shortening it to Ranga.

I told teachers, but they never changed anything. My teacher got me to start writing in a book when ever they did something to me. I did this, but my teacher never acted on it. The boys never changed.

I had to learn to deal with it all myself, to accept that I was different, and just go along with the jokes people made.

Now, I'm able to make jokes about myself. I sometimes wonder that if the teachers did do something, and the jokes stopped Whether i would think of myself differently, Whether i would still hate the fact that I was different. Whether, when people made jokes it would affect me lots.

I'm glad things were handled in the way they were, it might of sucked at the time, but now i realise how beautiful my hair really is. People dye their hair to be like mine, i not accept myself :)

I love being called a ranga, although, I hate it when people say my hair is orange. IT'S CUSSING RED!! It confuses me when people are so stupid, and it actually really offends me and makes me consider dying my hair. But, because now i like having red hair, if i were to dye my hair, I would dye it a different red.

I HATE when people say its orange, It makes me want to throw sand in their eyes, and continue to do so until they can see that my hair is red!!....

Day 8.

A song to match your mood.

Every song usually matches my mood. I can listen to punk - which always boosts whatever mood I'm in. Or I can listen to more layed back stuff which then influences my mood further.

Because depending on what mood I'm in - I get different things out of the song. Like when I listen to punk, it can only make me happier, or it can help me vent if I'm angry.

It all depends on what mood i was already in, and every song compliments the mood.


But I Am Always In the mood for some Rise Against. Most usually Behind Closed Doors.

This song kind of means the world to me. It was shown to me by a dear friend, Big Tez, and once i heard it I fell in love with it automatically. Ever since that day she showed me, I have always thought of her when ever I hear it. Another of "Our" Songs is, Make you Smile by Plus 44. We have a way that we sing it and everything.

I don't know, there is something about these two songs that reminds me of a different time. When we were all stress free and enjoying ourselves. Now, people fight and we have problems with school, it's all a bit much to deal with. So when ever I listen to either of these songs, they get me in the mood for anything.

And that's why i have thought of them now. Because I have just finished all school work and I'm ready for 2 months of relaxation. These songs remind me of the time when that was my life all year round. One day again that will be how I live my life - easy going and stress free.

Day 7.

Your dream wedding.


Ahhhh My dream Wedding.
Going to be so beautiful, I will most likely have the ceremony outside I think, in the late afternoon - so photos can be taken with full sunlight and also with the sun setting. The Reception will take place somewhere that has brick walls. I will create a very Italian feel with vines etc.

My dress will be Phenomenal - I will starve myself from my engagement day till the wedding day so I look super amazing. Again with the dress - It shall me just off white - i think. With some sort of amazing quality. It's hard to explain but I can picture my dream dress....

The Man - He will be the love of my life; obviously. we would have been together for 2 years before he proposed and then the wedding will take place in spring. with at least 1 year to plan the wedding. There shall be 1-2 years after the wedding before I fall pregnant. So after about 5-6 years of meeting the guy, I should have a baby.

The Proposal - It will hopefully be on valentines day, or my birthday or something. And basically, he will fill a room with candles, and rose petals etc. and he will give me a jewellery box as a present. Then inside the box with be a big beautiful Ring. I would have the box open, then when I close it i will see him down on one knee asking for My hand in marriage.

How important you think education is?


I think education is very important. A certain level in school should be reached, and that's year 10. Without that, you're nothing I think.... You need to know basic maths and English to somewhat succeed. An employer wont hire someone under a yr 10 level. I think highly of people who continue on after school, this means that they want to make something of their lives, and be very successful in an educated position. Like me.

I have friend that have dropped out of school. One in yr 11 to work, and study music. This is understandable, why waste your time learning things you don't have to to follow your dream. I stay in school because I want to work in film. I don't yet know everything I can, though I study film and every lesson I learn something new.

I like school, I find it fun, and challenging at times.

I value my education - not everyone gets the chance for that.

IT'S MY BIRFDAY TODAY. YAYERRR

Thanks to everyone for all the lovely messages, texts, calls and presents.
I have had a wonderful day - However, there was one massive downside.

THE YR 12's HAVE LEFT ME!!

Some people need to realise how cruel it is to leave someone, on they birthday!
This makes me exceptionally upset, because I don't want to cry on my birthday, so I have to try and not cry, and then I feel bad for not crying because it's like an insult to the people leaving. One big feel bad cycle.

Birthday I must say was pretty average. Had 2 lovely cakes however. But like the Bag balanced out the good and it ended up feeling like a normal Day. At some point I honestly forgot, until another person would remind me.

I loved how many people knew though. That made me feel exceptional.

Your idea of the perfect first date.

Perfect First date

- Well for starters with someone I really quite enjoy.
I would love to go to like dinner and movies, or Movies and chill.
Mostly on Oxford street. On a first date I think its best to go to the movies.
Avoids having to MAKE conversation and it's a great way to slowly get to know someone.
First date Movie date = Sharing popcorn, The whole, yawn - arm around girl act. Holding hands, etc.

This would be lovely.

OH MY GOD!!!

I just realised that my last post - which was a useless one, WAS MY 300TH!!!

What an amazing accomplishment, I'm so pleased. And while everyone may be moving to Tumblr, I plan on staying true to Blog Spot. At least until my 600th

So here's the update. In 1 and a half Hours.... I TURN 16!!!

No biggy, just means I'm allowed to drive :D ...... and do other things.......

Not saying I will, Just that I'm now allowed to :)

SO yeah, totally stoked for the morning, so stoked in fact that Now I'm to sleep so the morning comes sooner.

However, Tomorrow also happens to be the yr 12's last day. This is very very depressing :(

Now I feel bad for singling out one song. So I would also like to mention the fact that recently I have been listening to lots and lots and lots of Rise Against. Through this study period it is important that I retain some sanity - - Through Music :)

I would also like to acknowledge The John Steel Singers, I have now seen them twice in concert, and both times they were extremely amazing.
Now, I have a friend, and His name is Charley - He is my Co-Captain - and His cousin is the front man of this Band. I love them so much. There Music is so amazing, they should be so much more famous than they are. But they are definitely making their way there... and fast!
They were an opening band for Powderfinger when i saw them last - alongside JET.
The first time I saw them was at the Go Between Bridge Concert, and there were a collection of amazing band there which was awesome!

Someone who fascinates you and why

I don't have a someone, I have a someones...

Xanthe Peters and Hekla Egilsdottir. They are purely amazing. I love everything about the two of them. There creativity just bursts out and consumes me. I love it, I love being around them, they fill me with a weird ranga icelandic happiness.

They fascinate me, they are such free spirits, I love it. They don't care what people think of them and they just live there life however they want. And for this, I love them.

what kind of person attracts you

This is going to be a fun one...

When I think attraction, I think appearance first. And then I may begin to like someone I'm attracted to because they have an amazing personality.

So, I'm attracted to someone who has good fashion sense and isn't a bogan
Someone who can be somewhat "punk-ish" - or like that type of music

Someone who is clean cut - although as I'm now getting older, thus the males around me, I quite like facial stubble, but not bum fluff facial hair

biggest problem you have had

When I suffered from slight depression. It was a hard time in my life. Although writing about it helped me to re-asses my life. And now I can speak a bit more openly about it, but still not to my close friends....

something that you miss

I miss not having to do school work outside school hours.

But I'm pretty satisfied with my life at the moment. One thing could completely improve it, but I'm not holding my breath and I'm still continuing to enjoy myself :)

The Notebook
- It's hard to explain why I like this movie, it's basically a movie that every girl loves. It's so sweet and so romantic, and if you don't like it you basically don't have a heart. It gives me a bit of hope for love. The fact that Noah can love so much, it's lovely.

Nowhere Boy
- The story of John Lennon + Aaron Johnson.... I rest my case.

Angus Thongs & Perfect Snogging
- Just a great movie. It's exactly what school is like. And it's English. I mostly watch it for the accents. I just love it, pretty good soundtrack too. I just love this movie.

500 Days of Summer
- The cutest, quirkiest movie. I love it, it's just a simply story line, but with an amazing concept and cinematography and ah-mazing soundtrack. I love this movie so much.

Grease
- The Classic. My favourite movie as a child. I had the soundtrack and everything. I think that this movie was when I first fell in love with musicals, and the 50's.

Mulan
- Favourite animation. Another Musical that kindled my love. This movie is so amazing, and so lovely, and so complex. I love it, the soundtrack is the best of any animation movie and is just one of my childhood favourites.

Honey
- ahhh, I love dance movies. And this for me is the best of the best. Jessica Alba is so nice and pretty and I love this movie. Her morals are so good and everything about it I just love...

Scott Pilgrem vs. The World
- Such an amazing movie. The idea is so good and unique. This would probably be one of the top favourites. I love Michael Cera and in this movie he is amazing. Also it began my love for Sleepy Time Tea.

Day 22 & 23

Changes in the past two years.

Woah, the past two years have been crazzy. I have completely shaped myself and changed my personality. I have become who I am. It's insane how comfortable I have become with myself, I have completely embraced who I am.

I have made some amazing friends. I have began to shape my future. It's hard to explain really what has changed. but people have come into my life who have completely turned it around. They have changed me. Unfortunately the biggest influence on my life passed away, although I think that by their passing it has influenced me massively. I have changed who I am because I have realised more things. Its been a crazy couple of years. Great years.

Favourite Show.

I have a few favs and they are.

One Tree Hill
- Because It makes me Happy, and I just love everything about it. the characters. the plot. Everything.

Friends
- It's pretty much the greatest show that ever was. whenever I watch it I fall in love with the show over and over again. It makes me so happy and I relate it to my life. I can tell you everything about this show, and can most likely tell you the minor details so every episode. You name it, I know it. It the most quotable show. And Tiana is my Friends Guru.

Toddlers & Tiaras
- I can't get over the terrible parents in this show. I love it purely to pay it out. It's also very addictive. The parents and children are insane. I really wish I had of been a pageant girl. I've got the walk down.

Project Runway
- I love the creativity, and the outfits the designers come up with. I love the challenges and seeing the innovation.

America's & Australia's Next Top Model
- I LOVE this show. Once again, I love the creativity. I love the challenges and Photo shoots. I love to see what the models come up with, and I think about what I would do in that situation. I secretly wish I was a contestant...

Law & Order
- This is mine and mums late night show. We watch this just before we go to bed to get us nice and sleepy. I love the story lines, it's just a nice show.

Scrubs
- I went through a phase where I wanted to be a nurse, or a Doctor, purely because of this show. It's a light hearted comedy that I love. It's like the modern day Friends and I love it for all the same reasons. Very Quotable also, which is what I love about shows.

Day 19 & 20

Disrespecting Parents


I don't like people who disrespect their parents, it just doesn't make sense. I have a good relationship with my parents, sometimes we get on each other nerves, but it's all love.
They do so much for me and I don't think I will ever be able to repay them.




How Important Education Is

Education, I believe, Is the most important thing. If you don't have an education, you can't really have a job. There are people that drop out after yr 10, that is okay because you have a background to go off. But for people that never had the chance to have an education, i feel sorry for. Like people in 3rd world countries, they just go on living life with no education or career.

For me education is the most important things. I'm glad I have a great education and it's setting up my life pretty amazingly.

So umm, this week has been extremely amazing.


On Monday, I found out I was winning the FTNM award. Yay!

On Tuesday, I found out I am going to be School Captain in 2011. Yayy!!

Then tonight, Wednesday, I have won the Public Speaking award, and the Participation & Leadership Award.

I'm Pretty happy. with the Public Speaking award I received an Anthology of Australian Literature Book.... Yay?
And with the Leadership and Participation Award I won a lovely big Cup and a plaque. I'm pretty happy, and looking at the previous winners, I think I may be the only yr 11er, so I'm pretty happy about that.
Also, Sally won the award when she was in yr 12, so that's cool.
And Hopefully next year I can do the same again :)


I'm so pleased and I cannot wait for next year to start, this evening and the awards have come at such a great time, I needed this to boost my motivation and it has done exactly that.

AHHH!!!! I'm so happy!!


I also won $48 in The Melbourne Cup Yesterday :D

I've had a pretty nice day/week, and I hope it can only get better.

I have a real urge to perform Act II Scene 2 from Romeo & Juliet. Also known as the Balcony scene.

I really feel like doing that :)

Also yesterday I performed a really nice piece in Drama.

And when I say nice, I mean well scripted and good. The chick was a bitch and swore so it was fun. I feel like I did it justice.

Tomorrow is Award Night. I'm pretty stoked. I'm so happy to be getting the FTNM award, because I have worked so hard for it and I wouldn't rather any other award, because this is the subject I am most passionate about. I love it and it's my future :)

I also got new school shoes. I know what your thinking; "why would you get new shoes with less than a month left of school?" because i needed them badly, and i still have all of next year to use them and I just couldn't wait.

Well I do believe this is the most I have blogged in a while. So that's all your getting!

What is mainstream music these days anyway?
Is it whats on the radio? What everyone is listening to? What tops the Saturday countdowns?

Because these days pretty much every genre has been mainstreamed.

There is pretty much something for everyone. I really like everything. I listen to B105 in mums car. Triple M in dad's. and Triple J in Mickey's.
I prefer to listen to B105, but then i spend my evenings searching Triple J unearthed.

I pretty much just listen to anything.
Although, my favourite genre would have to be "Punk". Don't really know if that is the correct name for the genre, but just refer to Rise Against, All Time Low, The Getaway Plan, I Am Villain, The Killers the list goes on. But then again, Covers also have a VERY special place in my heart.

I adore youtube covers, professional covers, Covers in every form. Refer to the blog I wrote purely about covers. I love them, that's why i love Glee.


I like what society depicts as Mainstream Music, I also like what isn't mainstream. I just like music in its entirety.
